September is Suicide Prevention Month. Today, September 10, is World Suicide Prevention Day. One way in which suicide is prevented is when there are people dedicated to assisting anyone struggling with their mental health. Project Semicolon is one such organization.
Project Semicolon states on their About Us page: “Project Semicolon is a compassionate online community that centers around mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Our platform serves as a safe haven for individuals to share their stories, find support, and contribute to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.”
At Twisted Dreams Press, suicide prevention is a subject close to our hearts. Our staff has either experienced the suicide of a loved one or survived an attempt to commit suicide – and in some cases, both.
Project Semicolon is a global outreach who works tirelessly to help those who are struggling with suicidal ideation.
