Twisted Dreams Press has had a great year in publishing! Not only have we managed to help authors re-release their books through us, but we also published our very first horror poetry collection this year! We plan to publish two more horror poetry collections in 2026. Stay tuned!
We also celebrated our first birthday this year. Yay!
The books which were re-released this year were the following titles:
Cauldhame by Bill Davidson
Death in the Cards by Susan E. Rogers
Horror Clown by Otto DeFay (with the new title: The New Adventures of Horror Clown)
Redhead Town by Deborah Sheldon
Dust and Deliverance by Benjamin DeHaan
We managed to publish 13 books this year, two of which are anthologies. Of course, there were plans to publish more books this year, but circumstances prevented this from happening.
We are thrilled by the number of books we have published since our inception in 2024! We have many more titles scheduled for publication in 2026 and beyond.
Thank you to all of our authors for trusting us with your work. You are all a valuable part of the Twisted Dreams Press family!
Here are the books published by Twisted Dreams Press in 2025:
Ruthie
By Angie Gibson

We entrust the most vulnerable among us—the youngest, the innocent—to the care of those around them: teachers, bus drivers, medical personnel. These adults serve as a daily safety net, standing watch over our most precious.
But what happens when that net breaks?
In a quiet Southern town, six-year-old Ruthie vanishes without a trace. As the town’s police and citizens scramble to find her, fear begins to settle in. Some know more than they’re letting on, tormented by guilt. The entire town is shaken. Parents clutch their children tighter, united in their vigilance.
The signs were there all along. Yet Ruthie was left in the hands of a monster—betrayed by willful ignorance and shocking incompetence.
The town prays for her safe return. But what if their prayers were answered… in a way they never expected? What if Ruthie came back… for revenge?
Be careful what you wish for, because sometimes, you might just get it.
Cauldhame
By Bill Davidson

Josh Aitken is unravelling and on the brink of losing everything—his sleek London home, his vain lover, and his career. With nothing left but regret, he is forced to return to the wilds of the Scottish Highlands and his mysterious childhood home, the crumbling cottage of Cauldhame. Abandoned and half-swallowed by ancient forest, it feels untouched by time.
But Cauldhame is not entirely deserted. Whispers move among the trees, and the forest watches.
There, in a landscape steeped in silence and secrets, Josh joins forces with Caitlin, a fiercely grounded local chef. Together, they unravel long-buried truths about his mother’s death—and the barely believable part he played. Each revelation draws him further from the rational and closer to something older than memory. It is mystical, unknowable, and anything but safe.
What begins as a search for answers becomes a terrifying reckoning. And when reason falters, only the terrible truth can guide him back.
Death in the Cards
By Susan E. Rogers

Want to get rid of that pesky someone? Have a Tarot reading with Queenie. It’s all in the cards… for a hefty fee!
Naïve Janeen signs on as apprentice to read Tarot with Queenie, her recently deceased grandmother’s life-long friend and business partner. She becomes caught up in Queenie’s dark readings, offering their clients deadly solutions to problems courtesy of the Tarot. Strange symptoms possess her and she falls prey to Queenie’s dark magic, until she finds her grandmother’s journals and stumbles across Queenie’s book of spells.
But is Janeen strong enough to protect herself against Queenie’s sorcery? The older woman is powerful and has no intention of letting herself succumb to a novice. Janeen’s bold challenge and Queenie’s unscrupulous offense finally come to a head.
There can only be one Master.
Dark Harvest: Terrifying Tales from the Poisoned Planet: A Fundraising Anthology Presented by Twisted Dreams Press
With stories by Lee Andrew Forman, Kurt Newton, Desiree Horton, Mark Mackey, Josh Gunderson, Megan Guilliams, Bray Mattheson, J. Rocky Colavito, C.S. Dixon, Dawn Colclasure and Jennifer Horgan

Within these pages lurk ten terrifying tales from talented authors around the world. When Mother Nature fights back, humanity’s assumed dominance of Earth’s ecosystems crumbles to dust.
Experience the quiet dread of forests where the trees no longer stand silent witness—but judge and exact vengeance. Dive into once-pristine waters where mutated sea creatures hunt those who poisoned their home. Walk through fields where insects organize with terrible intelligence, and gardens where beautiful blooms conceal deadly intentions.
Each story explores a different facet of our planet’s rebellion against human exploitation. These aren’t simply monsters—they are Earth’s defenders, twisted by our own arrogance into messengers of environmental doom.
All proceeds from this fundraising anthology will be donated to the National Audubon Society, an international organization dedicated to healing the very wounds that inspired these nightmares before fiction becomes reality.
Nature is awakening. And it remembers what we’ve done.

I Just Called to Say You Killed Me
By J. Rocky Colavito

Six politicians, different in states, experiences, and upbringing, united by their largesse toward and support of the Second Amendment, and all those who would have their guns pried from their cold, dead hands. That was their common ground.
Until now.
Six politicians receive a phone call from out of the blue on their personal cell phones; they don’t recognize the caller, but their habit of always accepting calls from anyone makes them answer.
Six politicians, puzzled by the voice on the other end, and the message being conveyed. They hang up.
Then they receive another call, and then another.
Six politicians, united by the fear of their ringing phones and the message from the caller on the other end. The message is clear, and its content is horrifying.
Six politicians are hearing from common sources who died needlessly, and the voices are from those victims.
The message for six politicians is: “I just called to say you killed me.”
The blood is on their hands, the phone calls are on their consciences, and the souls behind the voices are on their heels.
“I just called to say you killed me.”
Pray that the next call isn’t to you.
Dreadful Seasons
By Kurt Newton

Every season has its horrors.
Winter has its bone-chilling cold.
Spring brings new growth to things that once appeared dead.
Summer spawns violent storms like monsters released from the sky.
And Autumn fills the air with the lonely scent of rot and decay.
Every season has its horrors… and there are stories whispered in the wake of their passing.
Dreadful Seasons offers sixteen young adult tales of horror that wrap the reader in discomfort, like a winter blanket with a life all its own.
From dark fairy tales to nightmarish landscapes of the future, like the seasons, there is a little something for everyone, and no time of the year is safe.
Redhead Town: Dystopian/Vampire Novella
By Deborah Sheldon

LIFE IS BLOODY GOOD
In Australia, vampires are a protected class.
Twenty-two towns are picked to siphon vampires, aka “redheads,” out of capital and regional cities. When polled, most Australians agree with this strategy. But most Australians don’t live in a “designated area.” Don’t have to step over drowsing redheads during the day. Or live in terror of marauding redheads during the night.
Mark Murphy is a nightshift worker in the designated area of Oleg’s Creek. His house is now worth nothing, and he can’t afford to leave. He’s heard rumours of The Refusal. Desperate, will he risk a grab at freedom?
Written by award-winning author Deborah Sheldon, Redhead Town is a dark tale of government overreach, societal breakdown, and one man’s love for his wife and son.
